HR 2262's Mining Royalty: industry charges itself higher rates

As HR 2262, the Hardrock Mining and Reclamation Act of 2007, comes to a vote this week, mining industry advocates are claiming that HR 2262's 8% gross royalty would be the highest in the world.
This is untrue.
