This appendix contains general major mine characteristics and regulatory oversight and NEPA document information on major mines and NEPA eligible mines organized by State and by primary administering agency.

During the course of NEPA document and subsequent water quality information acquisition various requests were made and a record was kept of the response to those requests and is summarized and provided as an additional feature in the following sections.

This appendix accompanies the report Comparison of Predicted and Actual Water Quality at Hardrock Mines.
