Chemical Disclosure - State Level

Several states have implemented partial disclosure requirements, including Arkansas, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and Wyoming. These laws range in the amount of chemical information they require of the oil and gas industry, whether or not this information is limited to certain practices (such as hydraulic fracturing) and how publicly available it is to citizens and landowners.

For a summary of state disclosure requirements see The Wilderness Society’s State Hydraulic Fracturing Chemical Disclosure Requirements Fact Sheet (http://wilderness.org/content/state-hydraulic-fracturing-chemical-disclosure-requirements-fact-sheet)
